Step 1

 

Identify two (2) factors that influence the wound healing process. Include an introduction of these two factors in your overall introduction of this essay (approx. 100 words)

Write two paragraphs, one for each of your chosen factors.  Discuss how your chosen factors influence wound healing.  Use at least one piece of evidence-based literature for each paragraph. Use paraphrasing to demonstrate your understanding (approx. 350 words)

Write two paragraphs, identifying and discussing two (2) nursing interventions for each of your chosen factors that can be implemented to assist wound healing. Use at least one piece of evidence-based literature for each paragraph. Use paraphrasing to demonstrate your understanding (approx. 250 words)

Step 4

Write a paragraph identifying two cultural considerations that would need to be taken into account when undertaking a wound dressing.  Support your discussion with at least two pieces of evidence based literature Use paraphrasing to demonstrate your understanding (approx. 250 words)

Step 5

Using a reflective framework of your choice, reflect on the key aspects that have enhanced your learning of this topic.  Discuss how your newly acquired knowledge will be applied to your future practice. (approx. 150 words)

Step 6

Write a conclusion for your essay that reflects your introduction, and is a summary of the key points in your essay.

(approx. 100 words)

You are expected to support your discussion with evidence-based literature and to acknowledge this literature in the form of in-text citations and a reference list, using APA 6th ed. referencing guidelines.
