Title: A critique of the literature and barriers to implementation

Essay Purpose
In Assessment 2, you chose a clinical topic, provided background to the clinical topic, outlined its importance to nursing and reflected on your choice of topic. Continuing on from this work, Assessment 3 requires you to look at your chosen clinical topic in terms of evidence-based practice.
Theory
Evidence based practice “..acknowledges that it involves the integration of the best research evidence with clinical expertise and the patient’s values and circumstances. It also requires the health professional to consider characteristics of the practice context in which they work” (Hoffmann, Bennett & Del Mar, 2017, p. 3).
The Task
Think of a clinical question that is not addressed in your chosen clinical topic. Find a relevant and recent (less than three years old) research article (not a systematic review) that answers your question.
